Wheel Alignment:
A mis-aligned car handles poorly, wears tyres and uses more fuel. The car’s geometry can be affected by many things: road hazards, traffic calming measures and accident damage to name a few. Our Hunter HawkEye aligner can quickly check the entire geometry and give a “before and after” printed report showing camber, caster, front and rear toes, thrust angle, SAI etc.
Our database is constantly updated with the latest manufacturer’s recommended settings and tolerances and, as a rule, we always work to these. However, if you have a race or rack day vehicle that you need to set to your own specifications, we are happy to do this for you*.
Remember too, that changing your car’s suspension height by fitting lowering springs will alter the car’s geometry and will require some adjustment to ensure correct handling and maximised tyre wear.
* Custom set ups can be time consuming and therefore can only be carried out with an appointment. |
